Accounting Manager - GLACCMG

Hereford

Gap personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounting Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Accounts department.

 

Summary

Supervise the Transaction accounting group and ensure that all reports and compliance are completed accurately and to deadlines

Essential Functions

Supervise AP – Ensure that invoices are processed and recorded on a daily basis accurately. Invoices paid to agreed terms and per approved payment terms.

Supervise AR – Monitor collection of cash to minimise overdue balances. Manage letters of credit, cash in advance, cash with documents process. Manage credit limits.

Payroll – Supervise Payroll Manager and ensure that payroll is processed and submitted accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with HMRC for PAYE etc. File PAYE and other payroll returns to the appropriate authorities.

Tax Compliance – Ensure that all HMRC filings (VAT, PAYE, TAX, DUTY) are accurate and submitted on time

Insurance – Responsible for the renewal of all local insurance policies.

Cash reporting – All cash reporting to Division and PCC Lux is completed accurately and on time. Cash is bridged and reconciled (forecast vs actual, Treasury cash vs Ops cash flow) and presented to FD / FC

Cash Forecasting – Ensure all cash forecasts are submitted accurately and on time. Work with the FP&A team to tie to latest P&L / Balance sheet. Monitor cash incoming / outgoing on a daily basis and feedback any variance to FC / FD

Currency hedging – Provide analysis to Corporate Treasury to protect the financials from currency risk.

Month End – Responsible for the accurate posting and reconciliation of the following – Prepayments, Cash and bank accounts, Hedging transactions, Payroll and VAT liabilities, Tax and deferred tax, bonus accruals, bad debt reserve calculation, PCC Lux factoring, personal expenses. All treasury reporting.

Salary: up to £50,000pa (dependent on experience)
