PURCHASING/SALES ADMINISTRATOR
Berkeley, Gloucester
We are expanding and seeking a further Sales/Purchasing Administrator to join our extremely busy team at our office based in Berkeley, Gloucester.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and responsibilities will include managing incoming stock, processing orders.
This is NOT a sales role, and you will not be targeted, however you will be expected to ensure that you are providing multiple product quotes and to follow up quotes with existing customers.
Examples of day to day duties include:
- Generating sales quotes
- Processing sales orders
- Generating purchase orders
- Stock allocation
- Communicate with key suppliers for product availability and lead times and keeping pricing correct on SAGE system
- Arrange shipment of stock to customers and track direct shipments
- Answering telephone calls
- Computer literate
- Thorough attention to detail
- Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external sources
- Analytical thinking skills
- Self-motivation
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English
- Highly organised to manage work loads and meet deadlines
- Keen eye for detail - able to easily spot administration issues
- IT literate - MS office/Excel, SAGE Line 50
- Decision maker in time critical situations
- Experience with purchasing and sales order processing
- Ability to work in a small environment with a hands-on approach
- Ability to use their own initiative and be pro-active with clients.
