We are looking for someone with an interest in drama and film making, who is passionate about supporting others to self-advocate, and can help to facilitate the running of our Gloucester Drama Group.

Induction: August (but may extend) for a minimum period up to 10th December.

Our weekly group provides opportunities for individuals who face disabling barriers to produce issue-based plays and films on topics that are important to them.

We are looking for a committed, caring and proactive individual, with a genuine interest in working with people with a range of needs. This includes learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and people with lived experience of mental ill health.

You would be joining our Coordinator and Expert by Experience, to facilitate the running of the Gloucester Drama Group, and support in making our productions.

The aim of this project is that participants learn new skills, experience increased wellbeing and confidence, and have their voice heard on a range of issue-based topics.

The Drama group is a weekly Tuesday group and we are looking for someone between 12.30pm – 3.30pm.

Our Drama group will be closed throughout August however, and restart on Tuesday 10th Sept.

We are looking for someone to:

* Participate and support individuals to participate in group games and activities.

* Facilitate small group discussions.

* Take notes to capture discussions and ideas when required.

* Support during filming and performances with practical and creative tasks such as sound recording, line prompting, or prop-making.

* Offer constructive input into debrief sessions.

* Support with set up and clear of session equipment, such as chairs, drinks, table, whiteboard etc.

* Build a rapport with others and support them to feel comfortable.

* Be aware and act on any safeguarding concerns (following initial training.)
