Job summary

Bristol Mental Health Assessment and Recovery Team South is a psychologically informed service for the North of Bristol.

We are based at the Petherton Resource Centre.

We are a team that is comprised of registered and unregistered staff, as we work in partnership with second Step, Nalaari, Off The Record and Missing Link.

If successful you would be working in one of three friendly and supportive multidisciplinary clusters which are clinically led by a Consultant Psychiatrists. Experience of community mental health or similar would be an advantage in this role. However, training is available for suitable candidates.

Main duties of the job

South Bristol Assessment and Recovery team covers a large geographical area and has diverse communities within its catchment area.

We are looking for an experienced mental health practitioner, either a qualified mental health nurse, social worker or occupational therapist who has current experience in a community mental health team . The successful applicant will be recovery focussed and will empower service users on their care pathway through the service.

The successful applicant will have experience in supervising a diverse staff group and will provide clinical leadership to the team as well asdeputising for the team manager on occasion.

The successful applicant will carry a small caseload and carry out assessments when required.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive community mental healthteam. The successful applicant will be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service and will receive regular supervision from the team manager. There will also be opportunities for furtherprofessional development.
