Senior Programme Manager Dental Services - D9461-24-0110

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead development and delivery of our dental strategy for improved Dental Services.

As part of a dynamic and dedicated Primary Care team this role will ensure that primary care dental services are represented and participate in service redesign across the system and work closely with system partners in the development of primary care services.

Main duties of the job

This role will be responsible for overseeing the performance and recovery plan for primary, community and secondary care dental services working with the commissioning hub.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the dental budget and investment plan. Working closely with the commissioning hub this role will support procurement of local dental services and ensure timely decision making and contract changes.

The postholder will lead service improvement projects in collaboration with patients, stakeholders, and clinicians, to build patient centred and high-quality services that are sustainable, cost effective and focused on improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

The post is responsible for providing professional expertise to support these outcomes and provide advice, guidance and highly complex information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and deliver activity accordingly.
