Job Opportunity: Skilled Setter/Supervisor Afternoon Shift

We are currently seeking a skilled Setter/Supervisor to join our client s dynamic afternoon shift team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with HAAS machinery, and proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. As a Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment are set up correctly for production, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to overall manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications to ensure optimal production output.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks) for the design and modification of components.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs.
- Fabricate parts using milling machines and welding techniques.
- Manage materials efficiently within a warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment and logic controller issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, welding, milling machines, and materials handling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
