Would you like to make a real difference to my life?
Can you work in a person centred way?
Have you ever been to Fairford?
I am a 25-year-oldman, and I live in my own bungalow. I am supported by 2 support workers at all times as I have a range of needs.
I enjoy living an active life in my immediate and wider community.
I like being social and enjoy meeting new people. I’ve got a good sense of humour.
I love walking (sometimes with the family dog), trampolining, cycling, playing football and swimming and I need support to do all of these things so you would need to be willing and able to get involved. I have a car and need you to be able to drive me in my car.
I like going out for meals and other social activities and I also love spending time with my family (who live close by).
I communicate using short sentences, pictures and other communication systems and I am looking for people who will take the time to help me communicate and have my voice heard.
I like to sing and listen to others making music.
Sometimes I communicate my needs through my behaviours and you would need to be willing to support me with this – training to help you do this is provided.
I am looking for some more people to join my staff team. I really like people who can help me to feel and be safe but who are also willing to support me to try new things and live a full life.
I am looking for car drivers with a full, clean driving licence as I require support to access the community, and candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes. You must be willing not to smoke on duty. IT skills are also required.
DBS check will be required.
HOW TO APPLY
If you are interested in finding out more about supporting me, please phone 0345 241 5565 and a chat with the team manager will be arranged or please send your CV to office@solosupportservices.co.uk.
