Would you like to work for one of Gloucestershire’s best loved charities? Do you have a proven track record in fundraising? Would you like a great rate of pay and flexibility?

If so, one of Hooray’s wonderful charities that they support, Cheltenham Animal Shelter, could have just the role for you!

Cheltenham Animal Shelter is a charity that has been helping animals since 1926. They rescue and re-home unwanted and abandoned stray cats, dogs and small animals from across Gloucestershire. Being one of their corporate partners, we can really see firsthand the incredible work that they do, day in and day out and so they are looking for someone equally passionate to come and join their Senior Management Team.

Working from the shelter initially, you will get a feel as to how the charity operates and get to know their IT & Marketing Officer and Events Co-Ordinator, who you will work closely with moving forward. Beyond this, there is the option of working from home with plenty of flexibility on offer.

They are looking for an experienced Fundraiser who has demonstrable experience of hitting targets and generating revenue within the charity sector. You will be have a busy and varied role getting involved in grant applications, PR and Comms, fundraising strategies/activities, leading corporate fundraising opportunities, attending events and reporting to the board of trustees.

You will be a keen and established networker who is professional, self-motivated, positive and creative.  With your strong background in fundraising, you will be able to hit the ground running and be confident in contributing to the team immediately.

If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply in writing with a copy of your CV and covering letter to Peter Newcombe, General Manager at Cheltenham Animal Shelter - peter.newcombe@gawa.org.uk
