Enthusiastic Apprentice/Junior/Trainee CAD Technician

Fantastic Opportunity for Enthusiastic Apprentice/Junior/Trainee CAD Technician
Due to our recent expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, computer literate young person with an interest in construction and engineering to join our expanding team. We have a vacancy for a Junior/ CAD technician, no experience necessary, learning on the job.
Your duties may progress to include:
- Prepare complex and detailed high quality CAD drawings including R.C detailing and structural steelwork.
- Attend site meetings, carry out inspections and dimensional surveys when necessary adhering to Health & Safety Guidelines
- Co-ordination/Liaison with other professionals both internally and externally

A Chartered Engineer leads every project and brings together a team with the relevant skills, experience and knowledge, either wholly from within the practice or with the addition of external specialists to provide an individually tailored service. We are looking for a new member of our team.
Location: Cheltenham - Immediate start possible
Type of Role: Apprenticeship - Permanent role – On the job training with supported development such as day release
Benefits: 25 days Holiday + statutory days, Birthday Holiday, an extra 4 days at Christmas, Health plan, Training & Support
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Essential Good communication and team working skills
- Flexible and Enthusiastic
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to manage workload
- Able to prioritise and have good organisational and timekeeping skills
- Able to work under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Be able to multi-task and be confident in own ability
- Self-motivated and driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Possess full UK Driving Licence

Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 per annum – depending on age and experience
