Join our team at GRCC as a Community Capacity Builder

GRCC is looking for a dynamic, engaging and inspiring person to join our Community Development Team!
Do you have the skills and drive to support and enable a local area to maximise their community potential?
We would like to hear from candidates with strong skills in community capacity building in terms of facilitating, planning and working with a range of stakeholders to enable thriving, vibrant and resilient communities.
Working with a wide range of people including Parish and Town Councils, VCSE organisations, local people and partners from private and public sector, you will need to be adaptable and organised, an excellent communicator and able to engage and work with communities on developing their projects and ideas.
The full-time post (36 hours per week) is at GRCC’s offices based in Gloucester but requiring the successful candidate to be ‘out and about’, with a focus on covering the Forest of Dean and Stroud districts. We would consider a job share or a minimum of 4 days.
Post holders will be required to travel to meetings countywide, with some evening and weekend work for which Time Off In Lieu will apply.
