Finance and Property Assistant for the Diocese of Gloucester

We are looking for a Finance and Property Assistant with excellent communication skills to come and join the Diocese of Gloucester. The Finance and Property Assistant role provides day to day administration and processing support as a key member of the Finance Department, working closely with the Property Team.
We’re looking for candidates with strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
You will need to be able to demonstrate you can process information accurately with meticulous attention to detail.
A high level of PC literacy is essential, including excellent word processing skills with a good working knowledge of databases and Excel.
The main responsibilities of the Finance and Property Assistant will involve:
- Maintaining the Diocese’s utility information for all the clergy properties- liaising with energy providers, local authorities on council tax and relevant water boards.
- Managing the Solar Panel (PV) income for the Diocese
- Other administrative assignments to assist the Finance and Property Teams.
- Please note that a working knowledge of Sage 200 is not essential as training can be given.
