SGS College’s Construction Apprenticeship Department have an exciting opportunity for a Gas, Plumbing and Heating Lecturer/Assessor to join SGS College. Are you interested in passing on your skills and knowledge to the next generation of Construction Apprentices?

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of construction engineering apprenticeships
• Responsibility for a cohort of construction engineering apprentices
• Support the planning and delivery of pre-apprenticeship programmes
• Deliver the work-based element of the apprenticeships, including on-site training, assessment and reviews

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial relevant subject experience and occupational competence.
• GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent
• Experience of required sector (plumbing, heating and gas engineering)
• Assessors Qualification (A1)
• Teaching Qualification (DTLLS).
