Early Years Practitioner: Under 3’s: Full or Part time

Angel Day Nursery is a homely, privately run, caring nursery providing nursery care for children aged 5 months to 5 years. We pride ourselves on our homely care, partnership with parents and passion for creating an individual learning environment for each child.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Practitioner to join our Under 3’s Team, delivering high quality childcare.

Job details:

The ideal candidate will be qualified Level 2 or above.

Duties will include:

planning, preparing and carrying out activities & supervising play
observations planning, assessments & record keeping
preparing snacks, mealtimes, cleaning and tidying throughout the day
communicating with parents
enjoying garden play, outings and all things messy!!

Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable as the successful applicant will be required to plan and assess for key children.

Experience within a similar job role would be preferred.

A Childcare Qualification is desirable but not essential as training through the Apprenticeship Scheme can be provided.

Hours:

Up to 40 hours a week Full Time
20-30 Hours Part time (2-3 x Full Days)
Our standard hours are 37 hours over 4 days and
Paid Overtime is available by agreement.

Training:

Appropriate training will be arranged for First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection, and we have more options for additional training in house and externally.

Pay Rate:

Competitive pay will be discussed at interview and will reflect the market rate depending on the candidates experience and qualifications.
