Early Years Practitioner

Hartpury, Gloucestershire

We have an exciting vacancy for an Early Years Practitioner in our baby room.

Little Oaks Nursery is a forward-facing early years and education setting for children aged 0-5. Set-in purpose-built setting, with an extensive outside are, we are based in the primary school site, 5 minutes from Gloucester and 20 minutes from Cheltenham. We are rooted in outdoor education, have a wonderful forest school area, and are committed to our model of ‘Wonder and Awe’ which is deeply rooted in a social pedagogy.

Job Purpose:

• to work in the baby room supporting, developing, and extending play across
• the curriculum.
• a love of the outdoors,
• a commitment to excellence in Early Years,
• a sense of humour and reliability is a must ��

Specification;

Essential criteria

• The successful candidate will have experience of working within the early years framework and have experience of supporting children and families.
• A minimum qualification of a ‘full and relevant’ level 3 in EYFS is essential.

Desirable criteria

• Hold additional training in communication and language.

Hours:

Mon -Thurs 8-5pm there is flexibility to extend these hours or reduce to fit in with
pick up / drop off times for school. This can be term time only or include holiday club.
