Job description
We are looking for a confident communicator who can use their previous knowledge of working with students with complex disabilities in either a care or education environment to take an active role in supporting our students and parents as they move through the process of assessments of their needs and their transitions into college.
Because of National Star’s reputation for being one of the best specialist colleges for young adults with disabilities, our student recruitment team is busy handling enquiries from parents and prospective parents.
The job would suit a sociable, multi-tasker. Someone who is good at prioritising tasks, can maintain confidentiality and build a rapport with parents and other internal / external agencies. It goes without saying that you will need to be IT literate with a high level of attention to detail. Being able to work as part of a team and use your initiative when working independently would be highly desirable too.
This is a term-time only job working 26 hours a week over 40 weeks, ideally Monday to Thursday with core hours around 9am – 3.30pm with some flexibility we can discuss on application.
