Site Assistant / Facilities Assistant / Maintenance Assistant

Gloucester

Starting date:  ASAP
Salary:  Salary calculated in line with NJC Scale Points 6-10 £23,893 -£25,545 per annum
Hours of Work:   37 hours per week, all year round
                           8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday
                           8am to 3:30pm Fridays
Place of work: Moat Primary School, Matson, Gloucester.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Site Assistant* supporting Greenshaw Learning Trust school sites and associated site staff in a range of duties to ensure the smooth operation of the schools. (*We’re aware that this role may be called other things in other organisations, such as Facilities or Maintenance Assistant or Caretaker.)

This role is based provisionally at Moat Primary School. Moat Primary is a single form entry Primary school with its own Pre-school, catering for children aged 3-11.  At Moat Primary, we have high expectations, and the needs of our pupils are at the heart of all we do. Our aim is to provide a caring and safe environment for our children to become confident, caring, resilient and curious; we encourage them to achieve the very best that they can across every area of the curriculum.

You will also be required to provide Site Assistant support at other nearby Greenshaw Learning Trust schools, e.g. Gloucester Academy; mileage will be payable for your journeys between schools.
