Are you an experienced Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation (EC&I) professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client in Berkshire as an EC&I Commissioning Manager. Our client is working on one of the most complex and challenging projects in the UK today, and we need your skills and expertise to help them succeed.

Job Overview:
As a commissioning Manager you will oversee the commissioning of various systems, including BMS, HVAC, and Process Plant Equipment, all based on the Siemens S7 PLC system. You will manage the production, review, and approval of commissioning documentation, ensuring that safe procedures are consistently applied. You will also witness Factory Acceptance Testing, Setting to Work, and Site Acceptance Testing, and manage test failure resolution.
Your responsibilities will include managing and delivering commissioning work packages, and supporting the overall project commissioning strategy. You will plan and coordinate commissioning tests with suppliers, integrate test requirements into the project programme, and prepare and present regular progress updates. Additionally, you will manage changes to commissioning schedules, resources, and forecasts, and chair commissioning reviews with stakeholders.
To be successful here as a Commissioning Manager:
You should have substantial EC&I experience, particularly with commissioning BMS systems, vent plant or similar. You will have prior experience of managing commissioning teams. A proven track record in complex project delivery, preferably in the defence sector, is essential. Strong client and stakeholder relationship-building skills, excellent communication and organisation skills, and computer literacy in Microsoft applications are also required. A full UK driving licence and experience in the nuclear or other highly regulated industries are necessary.
If you have a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and project management skills you will have an advantage.

Security clearance (SC) is required for this role, so you should either hold this clearance or be willing and able to obtain it.
