Experienced CNC Lathe Setter Operator

Gloucester

Permanent (Night Shift)

Elite Extrusion Die Ltd design and manufacture extrusion dies and other tooling for the aluminium extrusion profile industry.

Established in 1986, we are an expanding company with a worldwide customer base.

We are situated minutes away from M5 J11A and central to Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud.

We are seeking a Production Operative to join our busy team of Extrusion Die Specialists. The role will cover various tasks.

Duties include: -

• CNC Lathe Turning of extrusion die blanks to supplied drawings
• Use of Lathe software to create CNC Programs
• Use of various Lathe Tool machines, all with FANUC controls
• Inspection of parts
• Use of measuring equipment

You must be able to follow and retain instructions, work methodically, read and understand engineering drawings. Accurately measure/check parts. Candidates must be fit & healthy, self motivated and once fully trained, be able to work without supervision and as part of the team.

Overtime: Often available at time + half rate and required when available.

Hours Per Week: 39

Nighty Shift: 4 Nights/Week. Monday – Wednesday, 2030-0700, Thursday 2030-0600.

Salary: Competitive, progressive/ based on experience.

Holidays: 5 Weeks/Year (some reserved for Christmas + occasional shutdowns) plus bank holidays.
