The Vacancy

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint an Organ Scholar for our Choral and Music department. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to immerse themselves in musical life at Dean Close and Tewkesbury Abbey.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months, with the successful candidate starting in September 2025. This is suitable role of a postgraduate or gap year student, with potential this could be extender for a second year.

Roles and responsibilities include:

The Foundation

Dean Close Foundation is a growing, vibrant and diverse family of independent schools and nurseries, uniting around a shared vision and set of values. These spring from the origins of Dean Close School, which was founded in 1886 in memory of Dean Francis Close, Rector of Cheltenham and educational philanthropist.
