This company has a technical slant to it around the M&E field too so it will definitely be a varied Junior Construction Project Management role. About the Company:
Our Client is a small business with a big industry presence, recently recognised for their excellence with prestigious awards. They deliver bespoke, high-end construction projects for both commercial and residential clients, setting the standard for quality and luxury. As they continue to grow and secure new contracts, they are looking for a Junior Project Manager to assist and oversee high-spec projects in London and across the South East
Key Responsibilities.
The Role:
As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of a portfolio of premium, bespoke projects. You will work closely with various teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role offers a dynamic environment, with regular travel to project sites in London and the South East, while maintaining flexibility with some remote work.
- Manage high-spec, luxury construction projects from design to completion
- Liaise with Sales, Design, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth project handover and site operations
- Organise and co-ordinate in-house labour and sub-contractors
- Communicate regularly with logistics to ensure materials and equipment meet project demands
- Provide regular updates to clients via internal database and manage client correspondence
- Monitor job costs and progress against budgets during management meetings
- Ensure variations are identified and signed off
- Represent the company at site meetings, take minutes, and keep clients informed of progress
- Oversee Health & Safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in Construction Project Management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across London and the South East
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work closely with design teams and maintain a high standard of project delivery
