What is an Inside Sales Representative?
Cloud Perspective seek candidates for the role of Inside Sales Specialist (ISS). The successful candidate’s primary duties matching customer requirements against the data consulting services offered by Cloud Perspective, identifying new sales opportunities through calls and emails and helping the Cloud Perspective management team and vendor partners to close sales deals.
What are the duties and responsibilities?
ISSs communicate with customers to understand their needs and generate new leads.
Other duties and responsibilities of the ISM include:
- Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
- Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails
- Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of Cloud Perspective products and services
- Maintaining and improving the database of prospects
- Researching for new leads
- Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
- Upselling products and services
Who is this role for?
This role will suit an individual early in their sales career who may be looking to develop a technical sales career. Initially there is no expectation of an ‘on the road’ function although this may develop over time.
The successful candidate will be working with senior management within the business who will look to support the ISS with the development of interpersonal skills and skills specific to complex and system selling.
