SGS College’s Finance department has an exciting opportunity for a Student Funding Officer at our Filton campus.
We are looking for someone who either works in finance or is keen to do so, who also enjoys face-to-face customer support. This role is an exciting mix of finance and student support, and has opportunities for progression within the Finance department as well as the wider College.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To provide financial support and guidance to students, parents and members of staff.
- To process financial support applications within the rules and guidelines of the various support schemes available to SGS College students.
- To support with the College debt management procedures by ensuring prompt payment of fees and providing financial support to students who are eligible for funding.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- IT literate to level 2
- General office disciplines
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Experience of operating in a similar customer focused environment
- Experience of working within a Finance function
