Accountant

Gloucester

An exciting opportunity to join a small but well-established accountancy practice, based in Gloucester.
This is an excellent time to join us; as we move to grow our client base, which in turn will allow our team to evolve, and expand.

If you are self-driven and able to hit the ground running; whilst also being a team player, you could be the addition we are looking for.

• 37.5 hours per week
• Some remote working (if desired) after initial onboard and training

What is the role?

The main responsibilities of the Accountant, will include:

• Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Corporate Year-End Accounts
• Management Accounts
• Client liaison

Do you qualify for the position?

This role is not for you if you don't have:

• One of the following qualifications ACCA/CIMA/ACA (almost qualified will be considered)
• At least 3 years experience within a similar role
• Experience in Xero, QuickBooks and Microsoft

• Have an organised and methodical approach to allocated tasks
• Use Microsoft Office and other IT systems effectively
