Management Accountant Opportunity - Fast-Growing Company in Gloucester
Are you an experienced Management Accountant, either part-qualified or fully qualified, looking to advance your career with a dynamic and successful organization? This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a commercial impact while progressing in a supportive environment.
About the Company:
You'll be joining a fast-growing and highly successful company based in the Gloucester area. The company offers attractive perks and a culture that values growth and development. The role involves collaborating closely with key stakeholders, and you'll work primarily from the office to build strong, face-to-face relationships.
Your New Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation of monthly consolidated and entity-level management accounts, along with ad-hoc board pack analysis.
Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Managing the Fixed Asset Register, including updates for additions, disposals, and depreciation.
Delivering accurate accruals and prepayments listings with supporting documentation.
Establishing and managing the monthly intercompany reconciliation process.
Posting journals to ensure a timely month-end close.
Providing key support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Conducting supplier statement reconciliations and recommending payments.
Preparing payments for bank approval.
Assisting in the preparation of short-term cash flow forecasts.
Performing expense analysis and reporting as needed.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
Proven experience in preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and costings
Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
