Lyn Niblett Bookkeeping Services is a well established bookkeeping company that has over 35 years
trading experience. We are a professional Company with an excellent reputation, offering a high quality
service that is personally suited to our clients.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Accountant to join our team based in Stroud. We
are ideally looking for someone with extensive experience of working with multiple clients in all areas of
accountancy, mainly personal tax returns and Limited company accounts; we specialise in offering a
complete package to our clients, so the role would suit a multi-talented individual. The ideal candidate
will have good knowledge of and experience of working with all financial systems including Sage, Iris,
Xero and Quickbooks.

Please note the position is office based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of personal and partnership tax returns
• Preparation and submission of Limited Company accounts and Corporation tax returns
• Liaising with and supporting clients in relation to the above
• General aspects of bookkeeping, including VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, reviewing financial transactions including accruals
• and prepayments, depreciation and month end journals
• Statistical analysis and management reporting including cashflow forecast and budgeting
• Visiting some clients on a routine basis

Key Skills:

• The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple clients.
• Previous experience using Iris, Sage or Xero is essential.
• Experience using Quickbooks is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines at any one time.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team when required.
• Strong communicator
• Problem-solving skills
• Time Management skills
