About the Team and Role:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Support manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis as a Senior Administrator in Children’s Social Care Front Door. The successful candidate will lead the Research team within the Front Door of Children’s Service’s Business Support Function. This post sits alongside the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and provides research support including in depth case studies and background chronology which is integral to providing the best outcome for all children. This post is within the Research team which sits alongside the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). The role involves direct line management of a small team of Business Administrators. You will work closely with the Business Lead Administrator and Senior Administrators within the wider Countywide Service. Duties will include:-
- Completion of Business Support tasks
- Supervision with team members and Personal Development Reviews
- Performance and Absence Management
- Allocation, tracking and quality checking work
- Use of data to drive performance
- Supporting bespoke projects
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind to extract relevant information, be accustomed to working to deadlines and have an interest or knowledge of children’s safeguarding. We would like applicants to have excellent IT and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a flexible approach with an ability to manage and prioritise your workload. Working in Children's Social Care does require an applicant who can be proactive or responsive to changing demands and resiliant to some of the tough emotional content of the role. However, it is a role that can bring great reward and job satisfaction.
