Technical Design Administrator
Gloucester

The Role
As a Technical Design Administrator you’ll play an essential role within our Solar PV design team. With demand for solar installations continuing to increase rapidly, this role has been created to support our design team, ensuring our installers and clients have access to accurate Solar designs.
There is scope for progression and the opportunity to gain Solar and AutoCAD experience.
Responsibilities
• Reviewing tender packs and documentation from clients
• Analysing energy reports against builders site plans
• Creating detailed site plans indicating Solar PV locations (basic AutoCAD training will be provided)
• Collating documents and CAD files to create a design pack for our designers
• Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks
• Assisting in the preparation and updating of documentation
• Understanding and interpreting design briefs
Requirements
• Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload
• Strong IT skills (including Excel)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• AutoCAD experience would be beneficial but training will be provided
• Excellent communicator, with a professional approach and the confidence to liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels
• Attention to detail and accuracy, even when working under pressure
• Tenacious approach to completing tasks within deadlines
• Positive, flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt as priorities change
• Highly motivated and pro-active
