Sales Office Assistant - Hycom/SOA
Staunton Corse
Following continual growth, Hycom are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our thriving family run business. We are seeking a confident hard working individual who will enjoy working in a friendly, positive and busy environment. Our office is located in a lovely setting with calm views, in a characterful building with a small garden and friendly team.
Hycom has over 20 years experience creating hygienic interiors across a variety of different sectors, including Health and Care, Education, Food and Pharmaceutical, Hospitality, Retail and Leisure. Using a variety of options for walls, ceilings and floors, we also offer project management within turnkey construction projects.
Working across all departments, this role will be flexible whilst managing your own core responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of our office.
Duties include:
- Answering calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Supporting the sales team with outbound calls
- Supporting product orders, making sure customers and suppliers have all necessary documentation
- Chasing deliveries
- Creating and processing product and project quotations
- Ordering products for projects team with various suppliers
- Ensuring all paperwork for projects and contractors is ready on time and to a high standard
- Booking accommodation
- Meet & greet all visitors
- Assistant with room preparation, ordering lunches and arranging refreshments for meetings
- Managing and ordering office supplies and equipment and outgoing post
- Administrative support for the accounts team
Skills required:
- Approachable and polite personality
- Have the ability to see the detail in words and numbers, and the ability to stay alert within a fast paced working environment with multiple daily deadlines. We are in the construction sector, attention to detail is essential
- GCSE A-C in Maths and English essential
- Previous experience working in an office environment
- Impeccable telephone manner
- Excellent written communication
- Calm multi tasker
- Proactive, if you see something needs doing, take the initiative
- Computer skills and experience with spreadsheets preferable
- Car essential
