About the role:
Do you have supervisory or managerial experience in Business Administration, thinking about your next career move? We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team as Business Administration and Systems Team Leader in our Learning Disabilities Team.
In this full-time role, you will be managing a team of administrators, providing line management and being responsible for your team members’ work and performance. You will be managing the team to deliver a comprehensive administration function to the Learning Disabilities Team, ensuring that efficient, effective and consistent administrative standards and procedures are implemented and maintained across the service.
The role also includes supporting on projects and working with other Business Administration and Systems Team Leaders to develop administration strategies, policies and ways of working to suit our changing organisation. You will have to deliver change as a part of service administration team, supporting the business manager, undertaking project work, designing, developing and delivering plans, policies, and ways of working to suit our changing organisation including the optimal usage of corporate and IT systems.
The post is based at Shire Hall in Gloucester. We offer flexible working with a mix of office and home working. We have free off-site car parking.

About you:
We are looking for someone who has experience supervising or managing a team. The ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge of relevant legislation and policy context appropriate to this post.

Significant experience of managing administrative functions and systems.

Experience of line management, supervision, delegation and performance assessment.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work with colleagues across different areas.

Passion, a great attitude and cares about making a difference.

Experience working in a busy office environment.

Customer focused business planning and delivery.

Experience of undertaking Project Management.
