Salary: Points 4-10 £26,863 - £28,177
Hours: 29.5hrs (31.75hrs week 1) (27.25hrs week 2)
Term time only plus inset

Qualifications/Experience
A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required. If applicants don’t already have this qualification they will need to commence and complete the course as soon as joining St. Rose’s.
Starting Date: ASAP – to be discussed at interview
Status: Permanent
Applications are invited for the position of Care Assistant to work term time only (with an additional week for in-service training). Some shift work is involved.
St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have
physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.
We are looking for a committed Care Assistant to support students in the residential settings within our
school and college. Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. You will work closely with other care professionals to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the independence and dignity of our students.
A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required, if you don’t already have this qualification you will need to commence the course once you have joined us.
