Education & Wellbeing Mentor (SGS OASIS & The CHASE) - REQ00123
Stroud
FTE Salary: Up to £29,868.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time only (40 weeks per year)

The successful candidate will be supporting our SGS OASIS and The CHASE provisions at Stroud Campus.
Are you passionate about supporting the wellbeing and personal development of learners? We have two exciting opportunities for experienced individuals to join the SGS Wellbeing Service at Stroud Campus supporting our specialist provisions, as a Wellbeing Mentor and Safeguarding Officer.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 wellbeing support to learners, addressing their social, emotional, mental health, and wellbeing needs.
- Collaborate with learners, tutors, staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to support learner retention and achievement.
- Offer focused support to Children Looked After, Care Leavers, and Young Adult Carers.
- Follow safeguarding processes and procedures as outlined in the College’s policy.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with young people aged 14+ on emotional, social, mental health, and wellbeing issues.
- Knowledge and experience in areas such as Health, Youth Work, Housing, or Social Care.
- Strong teamwork skills.
