Part-time School Cleaner (permanent contract)
Winchcombe, Cheltenham
Winchcombe School (part of the Balcarras Trust)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable cleaner to join our friendly premises team from 2 September 2024, or earlier if possible.
The job is term time only, plus 4 weeks during school holidays to carry out a deep clean, exact dates by arrangement with the Site Manager. Any required training will be provided.
Working hours: 16 hours per week in school term time. Mon-Fri 3-6.15pm (to 6pm on Friday)
Salary: NJC Grade 2 (£22,366 p.a. pro rata = approx. £11.59 per hour or £8,938 gross p.a. for 16 hours per week including 6.19 weeks’ holiday pay) with the opportunity to join the LGPS (Local Government Pension Scheme). Pay negotiations for an increase to around £12.26 per hour are currently underway and will be backdated when agreed.
The appointment is subject to successful references and an enhanced DBS clearance.
