The GPP Federation is seeking to recruit an inspirational classroom teacher to teach a Year 5/6 class based at Picklenash Junior School. This is a maternity cover beginning on 1st April 2025.
We are looking for an excellent classroom teacher who:
• Has a creative and inspirational approach to teaching and learning in Year 5 & 6
• Has high expectations of pupils’ attainment, progress and behaviour
• Is a reflective practitioner, committed to raising standards
• is an enthusiastic team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of teaching in Year 5 & 6
• Possesses a real passion and commitment to ‘getting the best’ out of ALL our children
• Demonstrates a good understanding and empathy of children with additional needs
