ENTHUSIASTIC APPRENTICE REQUIRED
Cheltenham
Hickory Dickorys Day Nursery Ltd is situated in Cheltenham Town Centre and is looking for an APPRENTICE to train towards a Childcare Qualification at Level 2/3 in our small & friendly team.
Candidates should have some experience of working with young children or in an early years setting and have satisfactory exam grades in Maths & English in order to progress towards level 3 and a permanent position.
The Apprentice will be expected to assist the team in all ages from 0-5yrs.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Excellent communication & verbal skills
- Some IT skills
- ·Be supportive to become part of a close team
- Ensure an excellent level of Health, Safety & Hygiene Care
- Skills to deliver early years education.
- Interact & play with the children in a fun & educational manner
- Reliability and enthusiasm is key in the Early Years
The nursery is committed to safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children & young people and expect all staff to share the same commitment.
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check & satisfactory references.
