Exam Invigilator - EI Stroud
Stroud
Are you passionate about supporting the next generation to succeed in their exams? Would you enjoy having flexible working options to support during exam seasons across some of the leading educational establishments in Gloucestershire?
Class People are looking to create a bank of hardworking, reliable and committed Invigilators to support a variety of schools during the busy Exam Periods.
What are the roles and responsibilities for a School Invigilator?
* Preparing the exam hall and other exam rooms to ensure that it meets requirements.
* Distributing stationary and exam papers to all students.
* Ensuring that exam conditions are adhered to at all times.
* Providing support where necessary to students (e.g. emergencies, reading questions, providing stationary)
* Answering any queries that a student may have about the exam.
* Act in a professional manner completing no other tasks apart from invigilating or administrative tasks.
What Class People are looking for to become one of our Invigilators!
* GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (at least level 4.)
* Experience of working with young people in a paid or voluntary setting
* Ability to work in a team and as an individual
* Reliable & punctual
* Honest & trustworthy
* Observant & alert
* Flexible
* Calm and focused under pressure
This role is subject to satisfactory references and a valid Enhanced DBS check.
This opportunity is paying up to £13.95 per hour working on a part-time, supply basis - whenever suits you best!
Please note all training will be provided by the school to ensure you are well informed on processes ahead of the exam support. Busy periods include: November, January, March, May and June every year!
