Teacher of Geography job summary

We require an enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join our team. You must be an excellent classroom teacher, passionate about Geography and able to deliver high quality and impactful lessons.

Developing students for a lifelong love of all things geographical

The faculty vision is to inspire curious, passionate, and informed geographers through both the taught curriculum and a wide range of enriching extracurricular opportunities. As a result, students will be able to critically engage with physical and human geographical concepts, fieldwork and enquiry skills, and the relevance of Geography to current global issues and everyday life.

Geography is a popular subject with our students, with good uptake at GCSE and a growing number going on to study the subject at A level.

The successful candidate must be able to teach Geography across the full ability range at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A level for the right applicant. We welcome applications from those with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing young people’s understanding of the world around them.

Ashton Park is an inclusive and oversubscribed school, with over 1200 students, set in the beautiful grounds of Ashton Court Estate in Bristol.
