Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a training facilitator to assist with the roll out of training to staff on the new care planning approach being implemented across Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust (AWP).
The post holder will be part of a small team responsible for coordinating and delivering training on the new care planning approach to clinical and administrative staff, the Voluntary sector and Local Authority colleagues.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly with a mix of home working and office-based working. You will also be required to provide assistance to the training lead at face-to-face training sessions in venues spanning across the AWP footprint, when required.
You will be responsible for communication with AWP staff, system colleagues and people with lived experience and carers, managing course attendance and queries by email.
Main duties of the job
Support Training Lead with organising and facilitating ongoing training need across the Trust. Maintain oversight of other facilitators' ability to attend training and support organisation of upcoming training sessions including updating training materials. Support the evaluation of feedback from training days and contribute to improving the training curriculum. Support Training Lead by delivering training sessions alongside other facilitators.
The post holder will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and communicate with AWP and system colleagues, people with lived experience and carers across the Trust and also have outstanding organisational skills.
The role includes using initiative in helping staff with enquiries, tracking and reporting attendance levels, recording/evaluating course feedback forms and generally supporting the training lead with the running of the training to ensure it is a well organised event.
