We are seeking to appoint a hard working and dedicated supply teaching assistant to work at Fosse Way School, a school for children aged 4-19, who have an Education, Health and Care plan.
We are committed to, and passionate about, the learning and progress of our pupils. Staff and governors have high aspirations for our children and we aim to provide a high quality, relevant and balanced education for all. We are a hardworking and enthusiastic team who enjoy the challenges and opportunities of working within a school environment. There is a happy and positive atmosphere in which children can fulfil their potential and grow in self-confidence with respect for the people and environment around them. Responsibilities include the meeting of pupils’ emotional, social and physical needs and liaising with teaching staff in the development and delivery of a differentiated curriculum.
Applicants will need to be confident, resilient and have excellent communication skills.
We are able to offer flexible timings including, full day, half day and 10am - 2pm.

- be calm & able to maintain a sense of humour under pressure, whilst flexible enough to adapt as situations change
- be committed to developing pupils’ independence and emotional and physical well-being
- work collaboratively within a team and alongside other professionals to ensure that learning is appropriate to meet the needs of individual learners
