We need someone who is passionate with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring pupils to love learning in this subject area. You will develop, co-ordinate and promote whole school literacy initiatives with a key focus on raising standards in and developing staff’s pedagogy.
As a lead practitioner, you will also be involved in developing the classroom practice of teachers within the academy. You will carry out individual coaching, delivering inset or training, as required. The role is a crucial one, and as such the successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

- Have excellent and current subject and pedagogical knowledge;
- Be innovative and inspirational in their teaching, and ambitious for their students;
