Developing students for a lifelong love of all things mathematical Mathematics at Ashton Park School is growing from strength to strength. In the last four years we have transformed our pedagogy, our curriculum and ultimately our outcomes. At Key Stage 4, we are proud that Mathematics now have positive P8 scores, demonstrating our students are working above the national average. Our curriculum (which you can see on our website) is rigorous and robust. Students are taught carefully chosen units that spiral through the years as they progress with us. Our pedagogy with a focus on modelling and purposeful practice ensures that all students make progress.

The successful candidate will be an effective and inspiring classroom practitioner who can plan and deliver engaging and ambitious lessons. Key Stage 5 experience is desirable as there is the potential to teach in our growing sixth form.

Ashton Park is an inclusive and oversubscribed school, with over 1200 students, set in the beautiful grounds of Ashton Court Estate in Bristol. Our school is in the top 3% of most improved schools in the country when you compare our 2023 GCSE results with those pre-pandemic.
