Skilled Multi Trade Carpenter - LCCCARP
Cheltenham & Surrounding Areas
Job Description:
We are looking for a self-driven, hardworking, dedicated skilled Multi-Purpose Carpenter to join our team.
This is an important job role, must be self-motivated, organized work as a team, customer focused, good at problem solving and have a good attitude.
Self employed or PAYE.
The ideal candidate must have experience in a variety of tasks, including 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works. You will work on diverse projects, ranging from installation of prestigious Orangeries, forming roof structures, installation of kitchens, Hardwood windows and doors, hanging doors, laying hardwood flooring, assisting in conservatory installations and general building works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on your own and in a small team.
- Deliver on client expectations.
- Read and interpret drawings, and technical plans.
- Install doors, windows, flooring, kitchens, roofs and other carpentry elements.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, when necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site.
Requirements:
- Qualified carpentry skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- A clean drivers licence is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both 1st and 2nd carpentry works.
- Knowledge of the construction industry.
