Support Workers (Days)
Forest of Dean
Based in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, Stepping Stones RU aim to help people who come to
live with us with learning difficulties, challenging behaviours and mental health concerns to achieve a
settled time in their lives and look forward to developing skills, interests and relationships.
Our ethos is to be family orientated, professional, hard working, client led and fun.
Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking Support Workers (Day) to join our warm
and friendly team.
No experience is required as comprehensive induction and training will equip you with the necessary
skills.
We have vacancies in Blakeney and Broadoak. The shift pattern at Blakeney is 4 shifts one week
followed by 3 shifts the following week.

Responsibilities
- To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide a good quality of health, welfare and well being of our Service Users;
- To contribute, develop and implement Service Users' individual care and person centred plans;
- To work flexibly to meet peoples' support needs;
- To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the Service User's life;
- To work as part of a team;
- To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with our colleagues;
Requirements
Experience of the people in our care who have learning difficulties and challenging behaviours;
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential as full training will be provided;
Candidates must have the right to work within the EU.
