Bank Worker and Agency Manager - (947)
Cheltenham
Are you proactive and people-focused?
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that is the foundation of our workforce approach?
We may have just the role for you...
The Role
We are looking for an organised and efficient Bank Workforce and Agency Manager to help us grow and support our team of dedicated Bank Workers, and to lead the charge in reducing agency usage across all of our services.
You will work closely with our services to manage our pool of Bank Workers, and take sole responsibility for authorising and tracking agency cover. You will need to ensure we have the right people in the right places - whether that is supporting recruitment, onboarding, or helping to mobilise new services.
We're looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in managing networks of people (volunteers, rotas, engagement), who is highly organised, detail-oriented and tech-savvy. You'll need to be able to communicate clearly and confidently with a variety of stakeholders, and share our values and passion for making a real impact in the community.
This is a part time position, offering 25 hours a week Monday to Friday, with some flexibility of your hours each day. There is also the option of hybrid working, but we are looking for someone with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
We understand that people might hesitate to apply for a job if they don’t check every box, but if you have most of the skills we’re seeking, we encourage you to apply—you could be exactly who we need!
If you have any special access requirements or other support needs throughout the application process (including an interview), please contact us so that we can let you know how we can support you.
What You'll Do
- Reduce agency use by 10% month-on-month in your first year
- Develop and maintain our Bank Worker and Overtime logs
- Lead on recruitment, vetting and onboarding of Bank Workers
- Deliver regular communications, supervision, and support to Bank Workers
- Rigorously assess agency requests and propose long-term solutions
- Provide cover to new services via bank deployment
- Champion development opportunities for Bank Workers
