Deputy Manager - AT378
Stroud
Our client based in Stroud who are in the care sector, is currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join their small and friendly team on a permanent basis. This is a lovely opportunity to work with a team who are dedicated to offering the best possible service to their clients.
To apply for this position you will have previous experience in management of domiciliary care and hold a full UK driving licence and use of a car.
Main Responsibilities
-Work closely with the Registered Manager to continuously improve the service provided to clients.
-Ensure the company is working to the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission.
-Allocate care workers to clients and producing weekly rotas.
-Liaise with clients and other professionals to ensure the correct, high-quality services are being delivered.
-Answer telephone calls from clients and staff and deal with queries in line with policies and procedures.
-Update client and carer records on an ongoing basis and ensure accuracy of all records.
-Ensure that the policies and procedures of the company are followed and take appropriate action where necessary.
-Assisting with the recruitment process of care staff.
-Active involvement in the induction process of all new staff.
-Attend management meetings as required and contribute to the review of the policies and procedures.
-Provide hands-on care when required.
Please note a DBS check is required for this position.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm + on-call cover on a rota-basis with management staff.
Salary: £28,000 + company pension + free onsite parking + free blue light card + employee assistance programme + additional day off leave for birthday.
