Personal Carer required for man in his own home
Edge, Gloucestershire
Overview:
I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Carer to join my team of 3 other carers, and my family, in my own home. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to myself.
Responsibilities:
- Assist myself with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform housekeeping tasks. Including cooking, cleaning, etc
- Accompany me to appointments and outings
- Follow care plans.
- Communicate effectively with myself, my family, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (Must be over 25 for insurance purposes, with a maximum of 6 points, to be able to drive my car)
- Previous experience in home care, or care home settings is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to speak English fluently
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Schedule:
- 12 hour shifts: 2 x 12 hours (Week 1) 3 x 12 hours (Week 2) on a rolling rota.
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Ability to cover other carers holidays/sickness would be a massive benefit.
Language:
- English (required)
Location of job is Edge (Between Stroud, and Gloucester)

Salary: £13.00 per hour weekdays. £15.00 per hour weekends
