CARE ASSISTANT - UK DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED

Important: Please note that at this time, only candidates currently within 20 minutes’ drive of GL14 2SE, and already living within the Forest of Dean district, will be considered.
Females preferred due to client request regarding personal care.
We are recruiting for both full-time and part-time Care Assistant roles in the Forest of Dean area.

What’s in it for you?
- Weekday pay: £12 per hour
- Weekend pay: £13 per hour
- Enhanced rates for bank holidays
- Holiday pay in addition
- Paid mileage: 35p per mile
- Travel time: £11.44 per hour
- Consideration for a guaranteed hours contract after 12 weeks
- Refer a friend bonus: £250
- Signing-on bonus: £500 (pro rata, based on hours)
- 1st year bonus of £500 (as above)
- Fully funded Diplomas/NVQs in Health & Social Care
What will you be doing?
You’ll be delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Prompting medication
- Companionship
- Full training is provided in all aspects of care, so no prior experience is required.
What you need:
- A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- A desire to care for others
- The sponsorship free right to work in the UK
- Currently live with 20 minutes’ drive ( No relocation ) of GL14 2SE in the Forest of Dean.

We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role and we do not accept sponsorship swappers. Relocation is not an option, you must already live within the Forest of Dean district or South Herefordshire.
Note we cover Lydney, Cinderford, Coleford, Newent, Mitcheldean, Ross and all Forest of Dean areas.
This role may also be called care and support worker, support worker, HCA Health Care Assistant, Carer, Home Carer, Domiciliary carer.
