Home Care Assistant

As part of your role, you will be required to support client in order for them to maintain their independence in their own home and to support and empower them to reach their full potential.

Providing assistance with personal care such as showering, dressing, oral hygiene, continence care and toileting needs.
Support with fluid and nutrition needs.
Supporting with medications needs such as administering and prompting.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and changes in the client's condition.
Reporting concerns promptly to the care manager.
Encouraging positive environment for the safety and the wellbeing of the client.
Communicate effectively with allocated client.
Supporting clients through temporary and terminal illness such as end of life and hospital appointment.
Working in partnership with the clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care to provide the best quality care and enhance their wellbeing and health.
