*Support Workers*
Forest of Dean/Gloucestershire
We are looking for kind, caring and active people to work on a 2:1 basis with a young female with learning disabilities based in Lydney, Gloucestershire. You will be supporting this person to lead a fulfilling life and support them with their day to day activities. The young female you will be supporting enjoy being around people who are upbeat and positive. You will be supporting this person in the community on different activities as well as enjoying inside home activities, below is a list of some activities that will be required to support on;
Long walks
Trampolining
Swimming
Going to see animals at farms
Going to feed the ducks
Board games
Singing and Dancing.
Due to the care needs of this person you will need to have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Working Hours
The shift times for this service are as follows;
- 09:00am - 21:00pm - Days
- 21:00pm - 09:00 - Waking Night
- 21:00 - 09:00 - Sleep shift
Experience:
Previous experience with caring and supporting individual's who have complex needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health, Behaviors that challenge, and Epilepsy is preferred, however is not essential as full training will be provided along with support from Senior Support Staff, our dedicated and experienced Management Team and our On Call Support Team.

This position does require you to be 18 years old, as the work includes intimate personal care and administration of medication. However candidates who are 17years can apply if 18years within 3mths.

Salary: £11 per hour - Increasing in April
Hours Per Week: Part-time and Full-time Hours Available
