OSCA St. John's After School Club - PLAYWORKER. Temporary, Part time, to cover maternity leave - 13449939

Cheltenham

Position of PLAYWORKER. Temporary, Part time, to cover maternity leave. Term time only. Days and hours: 1 - 2 days a week/ 2 - 5 hours. These could increase if additional staffing is required. To be deployed as required. Pay rate: £11.44 per hour to increase in April in line with the National living wage. Start date: 24th February 2025 with induction days on 12th and 14th February 2025.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, happy person to join our friendly team. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude and be passionate about working with children in the childcare sector.

You will be required to work alongside the play leader to provide play and learning opportunities to primary aged children, 4-11 years old.

Qualifications are not essential although it would be desirable if the candidate was to hold a level 2 in Playwork or a Children and Young Peoples Workforce (Early Learning and Childcare) qualification, first aid and safeguarding certificates.

Training will be provided where necessary.

A knowledge of EYFS is also desirable as we provide childcare for reception aged children at the club.
