Partner and Events Assistant

Cheltenham

Fixed Term 12 Month Contract

Cheltenham Festivals is a charity co-creating experiences which bring joy, spark curiosity, connect communities and inspire change. Our year-round schools, community and talent development programmes culminate at the town’s internationally acclaimed Jazz, Science, Music, and Literature Festivals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the smooth operational delivery of all partner activations (sponsorship activities) and hospitality and bespoke events across the four festivals to fulfil the vision of the charity, a world in which everyone can access culture.

The postholder will undertake a range of administrative and ‘on-the ground’ duties, working collaboratively with the Partner Delivery Manager and the Events Manager in the lead up to, and during, the Festival cycle.

The Partner and Events Assistant will gain valuable insight into working within the charitable sector and live events industry, and an understanding of the sponsorship process with Festival Partners. You will work within the framework of the overall strategic plan with accessibility, inclusion and sustainability at the heart of everything that we do.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in Events and Festival working, or looking to further their experience in this field, focusing on Partnerships and delivering partner objectives, and will involve collaborative working with internal teams across the organisation for all four festivals.

At Cheltenham Festivals we care deeply about inclusive practice and diversity. We are an equal opportunities and Disability Confident Employer who understands the benefits of diversity so that everyone – irrespective of individual identities, background, or any personal characteristics – receives fair and equal treatment in a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.
